Today is cancelled because of the weather!!

Tomorrow, weather permitting the puppy romp will go ahead at 10.30 and Saturday Dog Club will follow from 11:45.

On Sunday afternoon we have trials for the match team from 1pm.

Despite what I said yesterday it is slippery underfoot so the trials are off.

For the team selection there will be a course set up in the field and everyone needs to make a date to come over during the week and run the course as a competition before dusk on Thursday.

There will be no puppy romp or dog club today because of the rain.

Tommorrow's match trials will go ahead regardless of weather

With effect from this Saturday, 22nd, the puppy romp will be 10.30 - 11.30

The other two groups will be joining forces to form the Saturday Dog Club. 11.45 for a 12.00 start

Open to all puppy romp graduates and any sociable dogs. You may come just to socialise and drink tea or you can take part in an activity such as agility, flyball, frisbee, line dancing, tracking, clicker training (any other suggestions?) or get some help with stuff like recalls and retrieving. This week (22nd) it will just be socialising and some agility because I am here on my own. Fiona, Sharon and Sarah are all off on a course. Next week they'll be dying to try out their new skills on you!!

The field gate will be open for parking from 11.45 until 12.00. If you are late park in the drive.

No Agility this morning because of the weather.

Wellow show is the 19th not the 12th. Sorry my mistake.

This Sunday there is a home Agility match against Southdowns and Wellow from 12.30 after the morning agility class. Please come and support us and cheer in all the right places. Free hot soup and bread afterwards.

Puppy romps are all at the normal times on Saturday.

Next Sunday, 5th October, we are hosting a Fun Agility Day - Open to all. There will be some classes for beginners and those just learning so no excuses - have a go. There will be no agility training that day.

The following Sunday, 12th October, Wellow DTC are holding a similar day which you will all be encouraged to attend instead of coming training so that Sally and Russ can go to!

Anyone coming out to the field or office from the Southampton direction needs to be aware that the Botley to Shedfield road is closed and will be so apparently until the spring of next year! You need to allow at least another 10 minutes for the diversion through Bishops Waltham.

Puppy romp will go ahead as normal this Saturday at 11am. If you have been in contact with or see any signs of kennel cough - please stay away.

To err on the side of caution there will be no romp for the youngsters on Saturday but the 10 o'clock group and the older pups at 12.15 will go ahead.

Classes will all be back to normal on Tuesday and Wednesday. Obviously if your pup shows any signs of a cough please stay away but call the office to let us know. Missed weeks can be made up later.

Due to the current outbreak of kennel cough in the area we have taken our vet's advice and cancelled the puppy romp this weekend. The planned demo at Animed on Sunday will now not go ahead. Additionally all puppy classes next week are cancelled too. If you read this be good enough to send an email to sally@scallywagsdogs.com so that we know you are aware that your class is off next week thus saving us a telephone call.
