Companion
dog club
Scallywags offer drop in training and socialisation sessions for you and
your adolescent or adult dog.
Our Companion Dog Club is open to all dogs that have attended our puppy romp sessions and
indoor puppy classes.
Here they can continue to socialise in a safe environment whilst
incorporating ongoing vital training in a real life
outside environment. With the help of our instructors you will be able
to practice your recall and learn new games to
play with your dog when out and about. The aim of Companion dog club is
to practice the skills you have learnt to keep the
focus of your young dog when there are lots of distractions nearby.
The majority of the class is on lead, teaching excercises such as loose lead walking, wait, impulse control, polite
greetings with other dogs and people, jumping up, recall and handling.
You can also take part in the Scallywags
challenge.
If you feel that this would be of benefit to you, please speak to a member of the team who will be
happy to discuss
the options.
If you have not been to a Scallywags class before, then please contact
the team as an assessment will have to be undertaken
to confirm the dog's ability before the dog club can be started. Our Saturday Dog Club may be more suitable for you and your dog.
